David Simpson is the Vice President, Real Estate Management and brings over 20 years of real estate management experience to Equium Group.  Throughout his career, David has managed a diverse portfolio of office, industrial, retail, and residential properties including over 3 million square feet of downtown office space in Calgary for both institutional and private investors.  Prior to joining Equium Group, David worked for one of Canada’s largest pension funds where he was responsible for all aspects of property management for Calgary’s iconic Bow Valley Square.               

David obtained his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and his Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation through the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI).  He holds an Alberta Real Estate License for commercial, residential and condominium management and is also a LEED Green Associate. David is an active member of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC) and the Building Owners and Managers Association of Canada (BOMA).
